I. INSTALLING THE REALAUDIO PLAYER PLUS
The RealAudio Player Plus will be installed on your Macintosh Power PC when
you double-click on "RealAudio Player Installer." Your computer will need
to be restarted after Player Plus has been installed on your hard drive.
Users with Macintosh 68040 machines: The RealAudio Player installer on this
CD-ROM is compatible with Power PC machines only. The RealAudio Player
Plus for Macintosh 68K may be available for download from the RealAudio
web site. Please contact our Technical Support staff for more information
(see Section III: Getting Help).
II. TIMECAST: THE REALAUDIO GUIDE
After the RealAudio Player Plus has been installed on your machine, you will
be asked to complete the RealAudio Player Plus installation by accessing
the Timecast: the RealAudio Guide World Wide Web site. You will need an Internet
connection to complete this process.
Timecast: the RealAudio Guide offers:
* a customizable personal Timecast web page
* a tutorial showing you how to use the
RealAudio Player Plus
* a place to register your RealAudio Player
Plus purchase
* special discounts on Internet products
Your personal identification information for Timecast is stored in your
World Wide Web browser. If you change web browsers, or delete and
reinstall your browser, Timecast will no longer be able to identify you.
To re-establish your identification:
1) Connect to the Internet
2) Open the ReadMe.html file in your RealAudio
Player Plus folder
3) Click "Customize Your Timecast Page"
III. GETTING HELP
Here are several ways of obtaining helpful information on using the
RealAudio Player Plus:
* Read the RealAudio Player Plus manual enclosed
in the box with the software.
* Read the Release Notes in the ReadMe.html file,
located in your RealAudio Player Plus folder.
* Use the tutorial provided at the Timecast: the
RealAudio Guide World Wide Web site.
* Visit the RealAudio Tech Support World Wide Web site:

* Contact Technical Support. See the Tech Support
card enclosed in the box with the software for
more information.
IV. OBTAINING A WEB BROWSER
RealAudio Player Plus customers are entitled to special offers and free Web browser software from NETCOM and SPRYNET. Please contact either of these Internet Service Providers to obtain their complimentary software, including Netscape Navigator.
